A full building survey involves the following:

  • A thorough and detailed report into the condition of all accessible areas of the property
  • A detailed list of all the defects, both small and large
  • Maintenance recommendations outlining how you can best look after the property, improve its condition and make it easier to sell further down the line
  • A cost summary that lists all defects, outlining exactly what is required to fix them, while providing an estimated price of what all the repairs will cost. The cost summary is particularly useful when buying or selling a property, as you can use it as a guide for the negotiation process.
